IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Customs & Import Responsibility

International shipments may be inspected, delayed, restricted, refused, returned or destroyed by the customs and regulatory authorities of the destination country.

Please review your country's import requirements before ordering

Customs regulations vary by country and may change without prior notice. Food, beverages, cosmetics, personal-care products, herbal products and similar regulated goods may be subject to additional inspections, permits, documentation requirements or import restrictions.

01

Destination-country decisions

Customs clearance is controlled exclusively by the customs, health, food, agricultural and other regulatory authorities of the destination country. Traditional Turk cannot influence, accelerate, reverse or override a decision made by those authorities.

02

Customer responsibility

Before placing an order, the customer is responsible for confirming that the ordered products may legally be imported into the destination country and that any required permits, registrations, declarations or approvals can be obtained.

03

Inspection and clearance delays

A shipment may be held for inspection or additional documentation. Clearance times are determined by the destination country's authorities and the carrier. Traditional Turk cannot guarantee a specific customs-clearance time.

04

Restricted or refused shipments

Authorities may refuse entry, confiscate, abandon or destroy goods that do not comply with local import requirements. In some cases, customs authorities do not permit the goods to be returned to the sender.

REFUND CONDITIONS

Orders that are not released or returned

If a shipment is refused, confiscated, abandoned, destroyed or otherwise not released by the destination country's customs or regulatory authorities, and the products are not returned to Traditional Turk, the product price and the original shipping charges will not be refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

This also applies where the shipment cannot be delivered because the customer did not obtain a required import permit, did not provide requested documents, did not respond to the carrier or customs authority, refused to pay applicable import charges, or ordered a product that is restricted in the destination country.

Where a shipment is physically returned to Traditional Turk, any refund eligibility will be reviewed after the parcel has been received and inspected. Original shipping charges and any customs, storage, disposal, return-shipping or carrier charges may be deducted where permitted by applicable law and our Returns & Refund Policy.

Before placing your order

  • Confirm whether permits, registrations or prescriptions are required.
  • Check possible customs duties, taxes and clearance charges.
  • Provide complete and accurate recipient and delivery information.
  • Respond promptly if the carrier or customs authority contacts you.
